Yep. Thought of that. No can do because the course is funded on an individual basis.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostWell in that case, you're screwed if you and screwed if you don't.
Try and find someone else to take your place on the course. It's free training isnt it. Bound to be someone who'll want it.
And just found out they expect me to sign in to the course every day so they know if I dont show up !!!Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

Bristol - London so a bit far. But good idea.Originally posted by landl View PostHow far from the prospective client site is the course taking place?
Just asking because perhaps you might be able to attend the course but leave early each day and do a couple of hours with the client. I'll probably be stoned for saying this, but you might even offer that service gratis as a sign of good will. If the client wasn't happy with this, I'd say they were being very unreasonable and you're probably better off not working with them.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

Rats, this *is* in General.
Note to the OP, if you want sensible answers don't post in the bear pit that is known as General. Go over to Business/Contracts.
At least I didn't give out warnings or infractions - that *would* have been embarrassing...
Still - play nice..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
