Not as much good as donating what the travelling costs would have summed to instead.

How much is the sponsorship for that?

As it happens numbnuts the reason I was annoyed with you was I was up for the LEJOG later in the year but after you're hissy fit no chance.

          (On a question about biking)

What tyres are you using? The new bike I have, although light weight seems like I'm cycling through molasses off road. Got heavy set tyres for offroad, are you using intermediate or slicks for the road?
What happens in General, stays in General.

Treaded tyres have a much higher rolling resistance than slick tyres.

Total and utter bedwetter. A "hissy fit" as you call it is enough to put off the mighty MF? I suspect I smell bulltulip.

I am using a mountain bike, heavy, disc brakes, big knobbly tyres. Hard work pushing that lot around.

Later in the training I shall switch to a road bike (when I find one I want to buy, mostly considering 2nd hand but my neighbour is encouraging me to get a Bianci via Nirone )

The advantage of using a big heavy knobbly bike in the first stages of training should be obvious.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Pump 'em up hard for tarmac - amazing the difference a bit of air makes.
