Yep I am pretty unfit, but going to give it a go. As long as I get sponsored per mile then it doesn't matter if I die en route, BHF still get dough.
How much is the sponsorship for that?
As it happens numbnuts the reason I was annoyed with you was I was up for the LEJOG later in the year but after you're hissy fit no chance.
(On a question about biking)
What tyres are you using? The new bike I have, although light weight seems like I'm cycling through molasses off road. Got heavy set tyres for offroad, are you using intermediate or slicks for the road?

Treaded tyres have a much higher rolling resistance than slick tyres.

I am using a mountain bike, heavy, disc brakes, big knobbly tyres. Hard work pushing that lot around.
Later in the training I shall switch to a road bike (when I find one I want to buy, mostly considering 2nd hand but my neighbour is encouraging me to get a Bianci via Nirone )
The advantage of using a big heavy knobbly bike in the first stages of training should be obvious.
