It would be somewhat ironic if as a result of this forum sales of Mein Kampf and the Koran were to skyrocket. Alan Duncan Smith's autobiography anyone?

          mein kampf

i have the original version in german (btw the germans couples received at marriage ceremony during the war)
obvisouly anti-semitic but also anti-french (considered as half-bloods and natural enemies of germans) and pro-british (diplomatically speaking). it is obvious hitler would have sought an alliance with Britain. (other factors indicate this; there were secret negotations for an armistice between UK and germany during WWII)
Adolf Hitler visited Uk on some occasions, and once lived in liverpool.

Fungus: Clearly no point continuing this discussion with you is there, you clearly cant read and are incapable of thinking.

Where did I say anything that praises Hitler? Where did I say he was a nice guy?
All I said was that I feel he could have achieved a united europe if he hadnt gone to war. I didnt say it would have been nice to everyone and a pleasant (by our standards) europe, but I reckon that given the situation across most of europe at the time and the impressive growth and wealth of the germans that many countries could easily have been persuaded to join in.

You seem to have tunnel vision. Why dont you put your head back up your arse and let the rest of us enjoy an intelligent diecusion.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

              Interesting point, Gunman.

The Nazi's did attract volunteers from around Europe. Many of the foreign Nazi fighters were defending Berlin to the end. A very strange situation.

Do you read what you write before you push the post button?

And as for you engaging in an intelligent discussion, feel free to start, though I hold out little hope.

Is calling someone thick intelligent discussion? Maybe in your world it is. And if anyone here is thick, it's you.

Germany engaged in massive state programmes (not unlike America at that time) and started out as a basket case due to overbearing war reparations. The war reperations were crucifying the country to benefit the war victors. Not quite the miracle recovery you suggest.

And if you want to admire someone, try Roosevelt. Bit of a leftie though.

You see, there you go again, absolutely failing to a) make a point, or b) support anything you say.
You are also putting words in my mouth. Where did I say I admire Hitler? Just which of my points states he was a nice guy?
I didnt say you were thick, I said you were a twat with tunnel vision who cant read or think beyond your own prejudice. I never said I thought you were thick. You came to that conclusion all by yourself.

This is a common thread with these two

The subject doesn't seem to matter much
