Comic Relief - Good Cause ?

Now, I am all for charity and the good causes ethos etc etc. However given that the Comic Relief charity has a savings bulk of almost £70m is it not a bit harsh to be appealing again for everyone's hard earned pennies?

Surely they should be spending this money for the good causes all year round and as much as possible ? Or is it a case that they cannot spend it all it once, which if so, why are they trying to raise even more ? Doesn't seem to make sense in my mind.

I think if you want a serious discussion you should substantiate your claims.
Besides, who would run a business which doesn't keep a cash buffer?

Maybe they are thinking of it as more of an endowment, i.e. they invest the 70 million to generate a regular income which can be used to do good things. That is how I would run my charitable foundation if I were a multimillionaire.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

No worries. There's a one legged African gay and lesbian hostel up the road for sufferers of extreme dizziness. I'm going to be filming their sports day!
Trust me I'll make it back on views from Youtube!

You're less convincing than Blasterbates' links on AGW.
