    That was the same for me, I'd been stopped about 18 months when I had "just 1", 3 months later I was smoking quite a bit more.

          I think that may have been more related to your lardiness than smoking (although smoking will not help).

          I smoke - use gum mainly during work but love a 'smoke' in the evenings

          also keep myself fit - find that i rarely have these smoking related issue.

          having said that I am probably riddled with cancer...

            one week on and the coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and the seagulls* have all but disappeared whilst my weight has remained the same at ~14 stone
