    No.

Just this once I won't take the AndyW option.

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

    Assuming there is a tomorrow...

I'd rather die of radiation poisoning than share a room with AndyW

Why worry you only die once, except in my case where I've already died once by the time I was 20...
I read somewhere they had 9 reactors there.

While walking through the grounds of Lulworth Castle I found an entrance to the outlet pipe from Winfrith

Personally I'd have no problem whatsoever living near a nuclear reactor.

How could you tell......was it still glowing? Can't imagine they'd have been keen on marking it up as such.

I have 4 within 30 miles of my house, 2 of which are now decommissioned.

Unless the Severn bore counts as a Tsunami I won't be losing any sleep.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I remember the City of Manchester declaring itself a 'Nuclear Free Zone' some time in 90's - until it was pointed out to them there was a reactor (and might still be a reactor) at UMIST for students to play with!

I wouldn't want to live near one.

                      1. They look horrible.
                      2. They would be targets for terrorists to work there and make a really easy "dirty bomb".
                      3. They are always having little accidents that release radiation into the air and sea nearby.
                      4. There would be pylons everywhere leading to it.
