If your mate is using blood on the side for personal customers he is breaking every law going post BSE. He is illegaly slaughtering animals, I very much doubt he is though and rather you do not know what you are talking about.
Of course, dear, whatever you say. You are the all knowing butchery god and I bow before you.

I'm not a butchery God but I did work as a butcher for 5 years. I know my stuff on the subject.

That's nice, 5 years? such a long time.

Of course I don't know what I'm talking about butchery was my family's business for 70 years.

You are not a time served butcher.

              Was?

I take it 70 years will never be increased.

So you are saying your family failed in a business, your mate is a chef and your uncle had a butcher shop and you are an expert on black pudding.

Calm down calm down. It's clear that minestrone knows a whole lot about the typical work of a butcher working to produce produce (!) for supermarket value ranges, but making something a bit more unusual is the work of a specialist and thus 5 years' service doesn't really mean much - even wikipedia doesn't agree with him

                  Big big meany.

I think you two should have a sausage making competition. Please send your best quality produce (with name labels) to

                  Suityou01 Towers
                  The nice part of Luton
Up the hill, you know near the Topers
                  LU2 XXX

I will sample the produce and decide on a victor. No need to thank me, it's all part of the service.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

They seem to prefer sausage waving contests.

It would be a bit of a one-sided contest.
