      Driving a car is a good way to avoid shark attack. There has not been a single recorded case of a shark attacking a person driving a car. Sadly, the same cannot be said of surfboards.

        I'd imagine there must be a few cases of surfboards flying off a roofrack and smacking a following car so you're probably right.
