I guessed which dad is was as soon as I got there. He had ponce written on his forehead.
I asked him for the money and he went 'yeah bringing in to the shop tomorrow'. Not a glimmer. Not a flinch when I asked him.
Yeah I work between 9 - 5(hence the reason you drop your kid off at 8.30 in the morning and pick her up at 3). I live in Farnborough(yeah well thats 30 minutes away).
So he don't work. He's an out and out liar. Then it turns out he may have asked another mum for money as she was talking to him.
So best inform everyone.
It's stupid. Who does that on their own doorstep? In their childs first school? Incredible.
He's carried on his poncing around the school and playground to the point where the school has sent a letter today to all 300 pupils warning them of a 'con man' & a 'fraudster' who has been telling lies so he can borrow money, even to the point of following some mums home to give his hard luck story on their doorsteps, taking his daughter with him!!!
The school hasn't named him, but we know of three other people who 'loaned' him money, plus a women who felt compelled to give him a lift 10 miles out of her way. The letter has asked for parents to get in touch, plus the police were waiting this mornng.
I struggle to understand how stupid people can be and how his 4 year old daughter can return to school tomorrow??

Police were happy with the cameras at the time, but I got a voice message telling me they are coming to visit on Saturday unless I call back, which I did, but the sgt is not available to take my returned call.
The neighbours are complaining that I have a new webcam, which is on the internet and have installed additional cameras. All complete bollocks as nothing has changed.
I plan to tackle this by emailing the local community policing department this evening asking for the email to get forwarded onto the sgt, outlining I got his message, returned the call (got the name of the person who answered the phone), and also outling that nothing has changed, welcoming a chat as to why this has come about.
Does this sound reasonable?

Now, if there was a way to litigate sockies for wasting people's time, that would be worth investigating.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
