why do companies make it so hard to use their services sometimes? All I want to do is pay them!! mad:
Cheap local rate or toll free numbers that you can't call from abroad. Gimme a proper regular number and I'll call you.

This particularly applies to BT. A telco of your size should be able to organise this.

Also fax numbers that don't work printed on your bill.

      Again addressed to BT.

The guy in the office who can't accept that any house devaluation will not really affect me as I brought a house last year to live in for the next 20+ years & not as an investment

Hmmm that could be entertaining, the steel erector I had a row with this morning would probably end up hanging him of the ridge (as punching is frowned upon these days)

Garages who top up the washer fluid with homoeopathic screenwash... and then charge you for it

Garages like the one that last serviced my car who fill the windscreen washer tank with what smells like distilled essence of polecat piss.

Next time I'll fill it to the brim _before_ taking it in for the service.

having your car fail its MOT for not having screen wash in and then the garage trying to tuck you up for putting some super concentrated non-smear stuff in.

The car wash that dumps so much wax on your windscreen that you can't see through it when it rains,

                      Which it did.

And it was even worse at night with the reflections from other vehicles' lights and street lamps.
