Like I said if you're interested, read a book by someone who has spent proper time on it (The Case For Christ is popular). Or go on an alpha course where they have material prepared. If you're not really interested, stop wasting my time.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -
All I'm asking for is some evidence that you have, not from some book or some course.Originally posted by d000hg View PostLike I said if you're interested, read a book by someone who has spent proper time on it (The Case For Christ is popular). Fair request, isn't it - when someone claims to have evidence for something to ask what is?Hard Brexit now!

sasguru is obviously very insecure in his atheism, needs to spend every day attacking God and mocking believers with his copying and pasting

Perhaps you have some evidence for the existence of a supernatural entity?Originally posted by contractor79 View Postyeah, you're so clever you spend your time copying and pasting stupid atheist arguments on this board, such a success story, heroic
You see my working hypothesis is that there is no supernatural entity because I have seen no evidence for one, but of course if some kind soul could point me to some evidence, I would definitely change my mind.Last edited by sasguru; 8 December 2010, 10:49.Hard Brexit now!

Indeed they do. But not one of them can show you anything convincing.Originally posted by d000hg View PostWell billions of people claim there is evidence. That's a fairly large minority. In itself it doesn't prove anything, but it means simply saying "there's no evidence" is a whole can of worms in itself. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

I meant historical evidence in my original post, i.e. history and claims about Jesus, rather than seeing someone raised from the dead. I sadly have not seen a miracle with my own eyes, people I know well have although I am still a sceptic because it's simple human nature people exaggerate or make stuff up. I've had prayers answered but it can't be used as formal evidence, which I think is what you meant?Originally posted by sasguru View PostAll I'm asking for is some evidence that you have, not from some book or some course.
I have no personal evidence of quantum mechanics or the existence of antimatter, but courses and books convince me they are both real. Only believing things you can personally 'touch' is a pretty limiting way of experiencing the world.Fair request, isn't it - when someone claims to have evidence for something to ask what is?Last edited by d000hg; 8 December 2010, 10:54.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

We all know Sas, that on your death bed your hands shaking, lips quivering, looking up, you'll turn to the assembled mass crying around your side and say 'I hope the Great Headhunter in the sky isn't with Hays!'Originally posted by sasguru View PostPerhaps you have some evidence for the existence of a supernatural entity?

Well Doogie says he has evidence. I was merely asking for it.Originally posted by Spacecadet View PostIf religion was evidence based there would be no need for faith
Odd how such a simple question leads to so much ducking and diving.Hard Brexit now!
