What if you pot all the reds, followed by the white, all in one miraculous shot?
That isn't a smart-ass rhetorical question, as I genuinely don't know if all the reds have to go back on the table in that event. But if not then their points wouldn't count would they, and the whole shot would be a foul.
If a red (or reds) is potted and there's a foul during the shot, the red stays down. That's why the answer to the quiz question starts with potting all the reds and the white. It gets rid of the reds for a total cost of 4 points.
