    Player two knocks in the colours, scores 27 plus 4 = 31

    That's the total combined score.
    What is the lowest combined score possible in a frame of snooker? (assuming no one conceeds, gets disqualified etc)

    Which bit are you disputing? The question or answer?

      My bad: I was responding to this (which in my haste I thought Bunk had posted):

      Score = 15-4.
      Player 2 cleans up and wins 31-15

        No No No. You should never admit you were wrong on here. You should've edited your post so it makes ME look silly.

          What about if a player pots ALL the balls, at once, on the first shot?
          It's about time I changed this sig...

              The reds stay down, the colours get respotted and the other player gets 7.

                You are right. My maths is a bit off today.

                  Can I gently query the answer given as 31?

                  Suppose I pot all 15 reds in one shot. I only get 1 point for that. Then I miss my colour.

                  The other player then cleans up the colours for 27.

                  That gives a combined score of 28, doesn't it?

                    You get 15 points for potting all the reds in one go.

                      What if you pot all the reds, followed by the white, all in one miraculous shot?

                      That isn't a smart-ass rhetorical question, as I genuinely don't know if all the reds have to go back on the table in that event. But if not then their points wouldn't count would they, and the whole shot would be a foul.
