Am I allowed to say UK / Europe born in ads to weed out the Bobs & Nigerians?
Serious - time is tight - want a resource on board asap don't want a flood of unsuitable applicantsThis is a joke, right?
'fraid it doesNo. Besides, being born in Bobland or Nigeria does not make a person a Bob or a Nigerian.
How do you know that all Indian- and Nigerian-born people would be unsuitable? If it's because experience tells you that most would not be able to do the job, then post the requirements and check that applicants are suitable. If OTOH it's because you don't want dark-skinned people, then that's illegal.Serious - time is tight - want a resource on board asap don't want a flood of unsuitable applicants
No it doesn't. Place of birth does not denote nationality or ethnicity.'fraid it does
Don't go dragging ethnicity into this! the criteria was UK born - not of non Indian extraction (UK born & bred Indians are OK - just the imports)No it doesn't. Place of birth does not denote nationality or ethnicity.
