Because I enjoy the game, I'm not interested in the tribalistic us and them crap, as I said before I find all that rubbish to be moronic irrespective of the sport.

Which site did you get those stats from? I'd be interested in how many tests they all played. They had longer careers, but played less games per year.

I doubt that anyone will ever get close to Bradmans average, it's just a shame it wasn't over 100. Legendary player, he must have been superb to watch.

He got out for a duck in his last game when all he had to do was get 10 to get above 100.

      Lifted the stats from wikipedia.

When I stayed in Australia The Don was royalty and if there was ever a sportsman to earn such respect he earned it. Cricket stump, golf ball, water tank, stuff of legend. I have no inhibitions to see an England player getting turned over, smacked in the face, in the ribs, in the gut. Bodyline was a disgrace and it will always be payback.

I agree Bodyline was an utter disgrace.

Since you dislike it then I'm a bit mystified why you would say

as no-one involved in Bodyline is involved in Cricket (I doubt that many are even alive) as surely you're advocating similarly disgraceful behavior? I suppose it could just be your tribalistic behaviour coming through again. I never will understand why hatred hangs around sports.

Just reading the Bradman wikipedia entry, really impressive.

When it comes to football and someone gets injured I am usually a "don't want to see it, I'm looking the other way"

When it comes to cricket I enjoy seeing the English getting ruffed up, I enjoy seeing them getting pain. It is man's game and hard thing get thrown at you at 90 miles an hour. England started it with bodyline.

            Hypocrite.

Calling Bodyline disgraceful then being happy to see similar bowling just because it's against England players. It's one thing when a hit happens by accident and quite another being pleased to see players getting hurt.
            Rather sad really.

The best site for stats is cricinfo.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Bollocks. England introduced the world to aiming balls at the head and it is now part and parcel of the game, bodyline was exceptional as every ball pitched was aimed at the body, it was called bodyline for a reason.

Bodyline was the most shameful display of sportsmanship ever seen, ruffing up a batsman is one thing, pitching balls into the body over the course of a series deliberately to hospitalise cricketers is a step too far.

Just been reading about Bodyline on Wiki, almost caused a diplomatic incident and took the Aussie Prime Minister at the time to step in a defuse the situation

                    Jeez, it's only a game...
