Listen, I'm not a f**king lawyer, but I was, for most of my life, under the impression that people had a basic right to have their case judged in court if they're to be imprisoned, that the British government doesn't cooperate with foreign governments in torturing people or kidnapping them and dragging them off to places where the law doesn't protect their basic rights, and that lying to parliament is a big no-no, especially when the consequence is sending British troops to lose their lives in Iraq. Maybe that makes me a very naïve little man. But if you really believe that what HMG did was right and proper and you need some article umpteen, sub-paragraph b(iv) of the Act of Waterboarding 1673 to see that Tony B Liar and GW Bush cooperated in committing very serious crimes then I think I'd rather stay naïve.

At least I won't have to try and justify torture, imprisonment without due process and invading foreign countries on false premises to anyone else.

They were tortured for years without a crime being placed against them. A simpleton like you who professes to doing a law degree (cos you failed to make the grade first time round) should understand the idea of guilty until proven. Or do you not understand that you cretin?
