Have you looked at downloading the software from torrent sites, or downloading from vendor site and using the client key?

Or just get a new laptop for your own pleasure

      OO: OK but not great
Gimp: trashy GUI. There's a reason pros all fork out for Photoshop

My current PC hasn't crashed ever. Upgrade from WindowsME...

Still, when i turn on my 5 yr old lappy, despite giving me a windows desktop quite soon it takes ages to interact properly and fire up firefox

Most of the time it takes the edge off what i want to do
        Which version of Windows?
You won't be alerting anyone to anything with a mouthful of mixed seeds.

If all you use your PC for is surfing kiddie-porn and torrenting pirated stuff, no wonder you get viruses and malware.

Thats absolutely disgusting, I think you should remove that comment.

The fact that there is a whole industry build around the crap security on windows, tells its on story.

Yep. The story that Windows is so dominant it's historically the only platform the bad guys focus on. Vulnerabilities in MacOs, iPhone and others are getting more attention.

Linux is very popular on the server, more so that ms, due to its stability and security.
