An effeminate delusional pansy with the charisma of a skunk and the intellect of a flip-flop. Lives in a shed in Hackney and has a collection of virtual motorbikes.

          funnily enough yes

          FT.com / UK / Politics & policy - Councils detect housing fraud of £100m

Housing tenancy fraud has emerged as one of the biggest issues, the commission said, with almost 1,600 social housing properties recovered that had been illegally sublet. That, however, is only a fraction of the estimated 50,000 houses and flats that may be illegally occupied, helping push up the bill for temporary accommodation for homeless families to almost £1bn a year

So what? A life on welfare should be tough, at the moment it's not and that's the problem.

NL thought they were doing the feckless a favour by giving them an easy life but in reality they ruined their prospects by removing any incentive.

Yes but according to your previous post your implication was that newly-arrived immigrants/asylum seekers were responsible for most/much of the fraud.
That is not borne out by the above, so you were essentially making it up, much like the BNP does.

                Hard Brexit now!

Let's get some perspective here. Your total is £26K a year untaxed, the equivalent of a salary of over £30K. That's a bloody good deal considering it is more than most of the working population earn.

I am not knocking people in genuine need. I just think it wrong that they should be better off than the taxpayers who are funding them. We all have to cut our cloth to fit our circumstances.
