The 'girly' is a GP in an area of Glasgow with a male life expectancy of 53. The Blair era of health reform pretty much passed these people by.

Not the west end then, 53 is pretty grim, least they don't have to worry about paying into a pension though.

Not only did the healthcare revolution pass some people by but the education revolution obviously affected some people for the worse as well.
On the other hand perhaps one can't polish a turd.
          Hard Brexit now!

            Earss resistance data

Where data is available for the UK it consistently is higher (in absolute terms) than for Germany.

Blaster, I wonder what you do for a living - one thing's for certain it can't be rocket science given your poor grasp of facts, figures and logical debate.
well your page doesn't work (see above on learning basic IT skills (HTH))

            40000 per year

Hopefully you'll learn some basic arithmetic at your evening school.

            One an hour is 365 * 24 = 8760 per year

For your information the German population is 80 million (hopefully you can handle big numbers now)

I wouldn't bother wasting your time replying, just focus on your basic arithmetic, for the upcoming test.

Male life expectancy for the whole of Glasgow, including its lush suburbs, averages 70.7 years - worse than Gaza’s 71.01 years. In East Glasgow, it goes right down to 53.9 years in the Calton ward (see here for a full rundown). It is tragic comic to see Labour taking such a philosophical attitude to the scandalous deprivation in Glasgow East during this election campaign as if they were talking about the weather. “Oh, its heartbreaking and very complex” they say and use phrases like “multiple deprivation” to make it sound so complicated that government cant do anything about it. What’s happened is that Labour’s remedy to poverty – more money – has made the problem worse. And these Labour MPs can’t begin to understand why.

I happen to live in Glasgow's lush suburbs, a common term to describe the lime trees that populate the front of gardens in the better areas. Life expectancy in my street is probably pushing the 80s, 5 miles away it does not get better than the mid 50s.

That is not Thatcher's fault and it is not Blair's fault, people just learn to live that way. The country has allowed a social underclass to live in deprivation and rather then fix the problem we have allowed the problem to continue.

Glasgow may well be much worse than all of the UK's cities but we have the same problem in that 10% of our population refuse to take on work, this is the problem that needs to be fixed.

To return to the original subject - despite being a Thatcher hater - it is taking it too far to plan to rejoice at the news of her demise whenever it happens. I won't miss her and I don't forgive her, but it's clear from the rantings of some of her rabid supporters here and elsewhere that that she was a totem for a tendency among my fellow countrymen and occasionally women that I find abhorent, rather than its sole architect.

An accident at Coulport should fix that.

A pity really as I like the West Coast of Scotland.

Auch die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Krankenhaushygiene schätzte 2009 etwa 40.000 Todesfälle

You really are too stupid to waste time debating with.
I don't read german so I translated your article.

"Dortmund. Multimedia-resistant germs make wide in Germany's hospitals. In Dortmund, seven patients have died this year already of dangerous pathogens – total 24 MRSA cases were reported.

The death of three babies in the Mainz University Clinic sparked outrage and grief. Experts estimate annual nationwide up to 500,000 people with bacteria and viruses in clinics to infect. Up to 40 000 die by multi-resistant pathogens."

The 40,000 you talk about are the total number of people who die from viral and bacterial diseases, you absolute cretin.

The number who had MRSA, which is due to bad hygiene in hospitals, which is what we are debating here, is 24

                      HTH, but IDI.
