I've always taken the view that anyone who dicks me about when buying or selling a house is straight out the door. Agreed a deal to buy a house a few years ago and a week later got a message that we'd been gazumped. So we offered an extra £20k, the greedy bastard selling accepted that. Then dragged our heels for three weeks and pulled out. The other buyer was fed up with being messed about so wasn't interested either by then.

Owner was furious apparently. Got what he deserved in my opinion.

Like failing to reveal building works were not done properly. Requiring existing works to be removed and done properly.
