I've taken the prices and cross referenced them against the list of events I want to go to. My total expenditure projection is precisely what it was before the price of the events was announced.

Am I a top forecaster or what?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I'm was planning on going down to Weymouth to sit on the beach and watch the sailing. Do you think the organisers will build a West Bank style wall to shield the sea from cheapskate spectators?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

              They did in Athens IIRC.

I don't know about that, but my local fireworks display and bonfire do that (not long to go now). They fence the area off and shine bright lights at the freeloaders, and berate us too.

It's the Weston beach race this weekend, it really pisses me off that I can't get on it without paying £40 to some spiv bastard organiser who doesn't even live here.

I have no desire to go on the beach in mid October ...but if I did.

Probably the most amazing thing I have seen in my life.

                    Minestrone, just come out already.
