Do you think they knew this was on the horizon when they offered you the permy job? Maybe so the new employers would be able to find a nice cheap resource they could lay off without having to pay them off?

Sounds like you've been well set up there.

Spot on, they moved the company from London so most of the long timers left of their own accord then out of the blue lost a big contract and transferred the rest out to their so called 'competitor'.

All nice and cosy, lots of money saved.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Don't I saw our corporate KPI's recently. The one associated with unwanted attrition was a lot higher than average, probably no relation to the huge service centre we built in Bobland.

If I dont know better GJ I'd say you were Wilmslow.

You've had a right bad run. You only took this as you couldn't get a local contract.

Oh well better luck next round.

WMFS. Land that big fook off contract and spend the redundancy money on a few treats.
              Good luck.
