Fair enough Alf, but at 82 he had had his life. I bet he never sacrificed himself by denying himself the benefits of democracy consumerism , cheap fuel etc. By the time he is 82 he has time, too fu**ing much of it. He no longer needs the house, the money, no longer needs to drive the kids to school or pay the fees. He is a hypocrite who has lived his life and passed what is left to the next generation. He has nothing to lose by saying anything he likes.
No wonder the old are despised.

Fair enough Alf, but at 82 he had had his life. Yes he was taken prisoner in Dresden, thus Slaughterhouse 5 , if you havent read the book or seen the movie then do so.

The odd thing is that his previous declaration that the US is an addict to fossil fuels , has now officaly been recognized by GW Bush.

Can I tell you the truth? I mean this isn’t like TV news, is it?
