    er... how much is a washer these days?

      there are 4 I've got my eye on, owned by three separate people, all retiring (old boys) pricing is around the same as the turnover. So income is around 450pw per shop, profit is around 25%.....

        So you'd get into owning launderette for £112 profit per week? This certainly puts you in the lead for CUK 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year award, hope your annual profit will be enough to buy a table to attend the ceremony (if there was one)

          sounds about right, but thats times 4 with about half a day per week work needed....

            Try and get a client like a local hotel on board. So you do all their laundry. Then you can make some good money. I have a friend doing this.
