    Strange ticks

No, not the arachnids that attach themselves to your body, but funny habits that people have. One of the testers in my ‘team’ has a habit of slapping the side of his jaw with his hand every few minutes or so. I asked him if there was a mosquito problem in the office and he told me straight out ‘no, it’s a habit of mine; I don’t know why I do it’.

Any other unusual ticks that your workmates have shown? Amuse us!

Isn't it spelt "tic"? I don't have any workmates to comment on, and none of them tell me I have such issues either

Maybe, but I thought that was the other half of a 'tac'.

Knew a contractor with mild Tourettes who was unwittingly hired for 1st line support.

He used to keep telling users to F..F..F..F**k off down the phone.

He didn't last long. In fact, he is probably one of you lot.

Most of the places I've worked at, I've been sat near somebody who talks to themselves. It's kind of comforting to have around once you've got used to it.

          "Vibroleg" is also pretty common.

Yes, and bloody irritating when the floor transmits the vibrations.

                    Me too.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.
