There were no comedy pratfalls off a cliff, bulging eyeballs or nifty sound effects.

Is it only the book that they are concerned with in this digital age? What if you downloaded a pdf of the Koran and then deleted it? Or put it in a directory called C:\pork\ ?

Fundamentalist Christian; ‘I is gonna burn yo’ holy book!’
Fundamentalist Muslim; ‘We will burn your temples and churches at the great barbecue of Satan!’
FC; ‘I is gonna make second rate cartoons to mock yo’ prophet!’
FM; ‘We will burn your flag, infidel!’
FC; ‘Has yo forgotten the shock and awe? Yo want some more?’
FM; ‘We give you new 9/11 again!’
Honestly, seven year olds in the school playground show the same behaviour; that’s why seven year olds aren’t appointed to run armies and control nuclear weapons. (I know, George W Bush was, but he was 6 and a half when he got the job)
Why can’t all the fundamentalist believers just grow up, get a life and relax on the sofa with their chosen beverage like the rest of us?
Really, it's all very childish. Stop it. As Marcus Brigstocke said;
I'd like to start this week with a request, and this one goes out to the followers of the three Abrahamic religions: the Muslims, Christians, and Jews. It's just a little thing, really, but do you think that when you've finished smashing up the world and blowing each other to bits and demanding special privleges while you do it, do you think that maybe the rest of us could sort of have our planet back? I wouldn't ask, but I'm starting to think that there must be something written in the special books that each of you so enjoy referring to that it's ok to behave like special, petulent, pugnacious pricks.
All I'd add is that a lot of the atheists aren't much better.Last edited by Mich the Tester; 9 September 2010, 07:40.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
