Gourock is fine the rest no but too far away for a commute.

If you mean near the M8 bridge and Kelvin, I stayed up that way on a contract. It was decent and within easy walking distance of the centre.

But that was back in the nineties, it might be different now. The Hilton was better than the Marriott.

Next to the kingston bridge would be the 'door to the west end' or the park district where we moved from 3 years ago, Colin and Justin, those chaps from channel 5, had a place across the road. THey drove about in their little green and white mini cooper and would wave at us as we drove about in our BMW green and white mini cooper. They owned a full townhouse which must be a couple of million, we just had a mews.

Oh, it was handy for the Anderson Centre as well, but I doubt that would interest Cojak.

Yer showing yer age there big man.

I worked in the Anderson Centre complex about 2002 which was renamed Cadogan Square by that time, 2 in the morning and a release was going bad, we had 5 yanks and 3 Indians in the server room, hell breaks loose outside as 2 prossies start fighting because one had 'just done 2 for a tenner'.

Glasgow's financial district remains a financial district outwith UK trading hours.

What part of Glasgow C? If it was me, I'd stay outside Glasgow, if you want to be near the airport, you're looking at Howwood, Linwood, Kilbarchan type of places, all of these are near train stations and SPT is quite good at getting you into Glasgow. Trains are dirt cheap up in Scotland compared to down South, dirt cheap.

Avoid bigger places like Johnstone, Paisley, Erskine etc.

That side is all 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport, £10 in a taxi maximum.
"I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

On them! On them! They fail!

Huh, interesting, I put their rudeness down to Braveheart being on the telly the night before my one and only day trip there.

I worked at the Alba-Life building there. The sites we would see after working late.

I have, this week, been given a first floor window seat overlooking one of the lanes on the next block up.

No way anyone could be expected to work at this desk late at night.

Alba rented a couple of floors of an old theatre on Renfield Street above starbucks. The building across the street had a lap-dancing club in it. The first floor of the club was where "private" entertainment happened. We had a meeting room that could look right into the room. Not too bad during daylight... Mirrored glass doesn't work too well when it's dark outside!
