Lot of point missing here. I don't think anyone is suggesting that those in Pakistan or Ireland are actually to blame for terrorist acts etc but that, given how human nature thinks, any strong associations with such things is bound to create a negative perceptions of those groups as a whole and lead to less willingness to help. Neither are we saying it is a good thing, just that it is a reality and if we want to improve things we need to address grievances and fears on all sides and not just dismiss the genuine majority concerns over radicalism, terrorism and crime out of hand.

Norrahe. It really is curious how those who have checked nothing will accuse those who have at least done some research of generalising. Quite why the press or Google would select cases just to suit me I am not sure. You dismiss things as Daily Mail as if it that is some sort of argument, are you saying the Mail invents news? Do you have any evidence for that at all, even 15 pages of Googling? The Daily Mail is actually one of the most PC there is in avoiding ever making general links, such a link would be far more likely from The Independent or The Guardian. The first mention I saw was on an Asian site quoting police reports.

Old news. Kashmiri's (and it is those from Kashmir and descendants) are known to have no morality or ethics. Nothing to do with religion. Its just their culture which is markedly different from the rest of India/Pakistan. Around here they are responsible for 50% of the drugs, 50% of the prostitution, almost all the car fraud and mobile phone frauds and other financial frauds. These guys don't practise any religion...most drink and have women. All they aspire to is "having a beemer, innit!" - that's it. Disgusting folk that stain the rest of the community who are generally hard working and law abiding.

The last time I heard someone saying he was going out for a Pakistani , he was putting his DM's on. Maybe they would get better PR if they moved into the takeaway area a bit more

if you need to be "persuaded or enlightened" of the fact that Arthur Bigot is spouting nonsense then you are beyond redemption. You seem to be suggesting that having a ridiculous point of view is quite acceptable provided you can back it up with numbers convinced. An argument that might hold water amongst a commune of simpletons, who knows? Maybe you and Arthur might enlighten us?

The minute i heard things along the lines of "if we don't help them they will turn to the radical Muslim groups who are out there" both from people over here and leaders over there, I lost all interest.

If the people over are such ungrateful sods that if we (the west) don’t bail them out every single time then they will join the terrorists and be chanting “Down with USA/UK” while burning flags the next day…then I say…terrorists are welcome to them and good riddance. Hope the folks enjoy sharia law and living in the middle ages

Very very tired of paying to get people “be good” and propping up corrupt and incompetent governments/regimes as a side effect

We have led the horse to water time and time again and he will not drink because he just wants the candies we have, time to put him on a diet and let him take care of himself for a while. We have other problems to deal with

Perhaps they should just let Pakistan go bankrupt. Then the military and the elites will figure out that the current business plan has run its course.
