Both countries stick closely with the basic Indian culture than anything. Though the cultures vary from region to region, sometimes greatly. The north and kashmir being the most obvious examples. Overall, having been to both, India is hardly secular - the Hindus (including the government) treat non-hindus like tulip . Pakistan is somewhat more balanced.McCoy: "Medical men are trained in logic."

Article in the Times today, pointing out that of all the countries who have given aid, most has come from the Great Satan USA, 25% has come from Britain, and 50p has come from the oil rich nations of the gulf.
Saudi has promised $100'000'000 but not much has been forthcoming. Kuwait's offered $5 million.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

Really? To quote from that right wing, racist, Islamophobe source The Guardian:the Hindus (including the government) treat non-hindus like tulip . Pakistan is somewhat more balanced.
Protecting Pakistan's Hindus | Comment is free | guardian.co.ukat the founding of Pakistan, Hindus comprised nearly 15% of the country's population and now number barely 2%. Many have left, many have been killed, and many have converted to other religions to protect themselves. All in all, a travesty for a state that was created with the intended purpose of protecting minorities.
Other groups fare even worse according to reports from that other Neo Nazi apologist group The BBC:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/sou...a/10190389.stmDescribed by rights organisations as one of the most relentlessly persecuted communities in Pakistan, the Ahmadiyya have seen their personal and political rights erode steadily over the years under pressure from orthodox Muslim groups.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/8711026.stmMembers of the community have often been mobbed, or gunned down in targeted attacks, says the BBC's M Ilyas Khan in Islamabad.
Whatever the evidence about its true nature, wherever it comes from, whoever reports it, people just never stop making apologies for this disgusting faith do they?Last edited by xoggoth; 20 August 2010, 18:19.bloggoth
