    Poole council in 'spying' tribunal

Poole council loses school catchment 'spying' tribunal

Although Poole Council lost the tribunal does anyone know if the result of the monitoring found that they had indeed applied fraudulently or are they not allowed to disclose that as the methods were found to be illegal?

It was reported some time ago that they had NOT applied fraudulently.
I am sure the law will be changed to take some powers away from local authorities because of this case.

In cases like this, whoever signed off the use of such powers within the council should be held personally responsible in the same way the head of companies are personally liable under H&S laws when someone dies due to lax safety procedures.

I'm sure that would make the jobs worths in the council think twice about using such powers.
