Were you around the time that the site was down for a whole weekend?

There was widespread panic. Eventually some survivors found their way to the FreelancerUK forum and set up camp there.

But he might have been typing a devastatingly witty reposte which is now lost forever. Oh, hang on ...

If Bob had been involved we would have a full change request, testing and full release management.

        Much cheapness.

        Bob understands process.

You were prowling around in one a day and when caught you attempted to justify yourself by pretending to be some sort of moral guardian for IT professionals. You should be grateful they saved your arse.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

                Hi all

As might be expected, there are going to be a few bits and bobs showing up where the new theme needs tweaking (or is totally borked). Moscow Mule has kindly set up a new bug reporting thread over in Forum Feedback, which is already doing a brisk trade

Most of these are things that slipped through because, as well as the colour scheme, a heck of a lot of the changes are to the underlying layout to cater for bugs in IE6 and 7. I'll be going through the reports this afternoon and evening, so there may be an update tonight, or tomorrow. However, we won't tell you when, as we know you like surprises

Ever heard of release scheduling or letting the punters on the board know
Well to be honest MF, finding a time that you are not on here filling threads up with unrelated gibberish would be nigh on impossible. You should be like I am, and only get drawn into offering advice and input when it is both reasonable and relevant to do so.

Fair enough for the IT illiterate/disinterested but why on Earth is anyone on CUK still using IE6??

Because their client doesn't have any other browser available, and they are surfing from "work".
