Secondly you believe that the ability to solve said past crimes (of which require DNA evidence to be left) should be placed above the security, sanctity & value of Human Rights.

Thirdly, you believe that it is acceptable for a Government to catalogue & store the genetic material of it's people for whatever purpose they deem fit?
    Nice try.

You know I will not fall for that one. But you tried, A+ for the attempt.

My poisition on DNA testing is quite clear, it solves crimes, that is all I am thinking of.

Amazing! If you'd been Churchy you'd have been chewing at my fingers on that one.

But it also makes them possible, and the lesser of the two evils may not be the one you advocate.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Can you give me an example?

Thats the problem, giving an example at this moment in time is impossible. This is a new moral dilema which we're facing.

Personally, I feel that once the government has our DNA they have it. It will be impossible, save by civil war, to stop them having it. Governments always argue for more power, not less and who knows who will be in power 20, 30 or 50 years down the line.

So for me a DNA database is a step too far.
Crime is a side effect of society. A DNA database will not eradicate crime and will be unlikely to make you much safer.

I don't think this is a human rights issue. It's about ownership of me and what constitutes me. I am not the property of the government.

I think we need to repeal the Foxhunting Ban before all of our graveyards end up looking like pock-marked battlefields!! And we may want to get the Ratcatchers firmly on the case of those mutant Wabbits too!!

It does and always will scare me the thought of a National DNA Database in the hands of a mad, corrupt Government like the Nazis! The thought of what will happen in the future chills me to the bone.

Regardless, I'm bound to be on the Project Team for it. So something positive will come out of the final solution as I type = "Delete * From Population where GeneX = 'Bedwetter' and SocialMeeting = 'Everyone who crossed me'
