    Dettol advert

Have you seen the currently running advert where they say bacteria can even survive in lava? Should they be fined, closed down and shot for talking such carp, and how the advert get past the incompetent people that are supposed to stop companies putting out carp like this?

Yeah, it did cross my mind to wonder if Dettol kills the little beggars that can live in lava.

There's a plague of 'look out for bacteria' adverts at the moment. The one about bacteria living in washed sheets (not if you use Vanish!) really irritates me.

They can survive in lava, but not in magma.

        It's true.

There are billions of bacteria on your skin, in your mouth and hiding up your arse. I don't recommend trying to kill them with dettol though.

Good point. Perfectly normal everyday bacteria can survive in lava after all.

Now that would really make a mess of the bathroom.
