Are you honestly saying that players like Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard and Joe Cole aren't technically proficient?

Their club records and price tags would suggest they are.

They're exceptions to the rule. And even they didn't display too much technical proficiency in the last game.
Admittedly technical proficiency doesn't matter as much as team commitment, work rate and mental attitude as Germany shows, but I'm afraid England don't have those qualities either and that is why I can't forgive them.
