Ouch. I once did the 5:00 Monday morning trek from Leeds to Kings Cross every week for 3 months, and by the end of Monday afternoons I was always kernackered.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away. -
Did my first jaunt on Monday. Got up at 4 and out, hoping to sleep on the train. Unfortunately the motion of the train meant that as I leant against the window I was sat there gently banging my head - so no sleep. That was made worse due to the fact that I had woken up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep! That was a long day!Originally posted by Sysman View PostOuch. I could never sleep on the train. I always tried to be in bed by 9 on Sunday night, with a taxi booked for 4:30 the next morning (no buses at that time).Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostDid my first jaunt on Monday. The cat making a racket to get in after 9 disrupted my plans for an early kip the first couple of weeks. The strategy I developed was to kick cat out early Sunday morning and not let it in for the whole day. It would then want to come in before I went to bed

After speaking with a lovely lady at head office!
Dear Mr. MMM,
I am very glad I could have been of service! It was very clear that you accidentally booked for the wrong date and for this reason we have decided to refund the paid amount.
Mr. MMM, I wish you a very nice weekend and I do hope we can welcome you again in one of our hotels in the near future.
Yours sincerely,
