Started raining here now as well, thunder is getting closer too. Dogs just went running out into the garden barking at it.
Biggest storm I've ever seen was last year while we were in Venice. Huge huge thunder storm, went on for a couple of hours with almost continuous flashes and thunder. The best I saw was at night flying to southern Africa. We had to fly around Chad 'cos of the war, and then we had to fly around a huge storm. It was the full on Monty and being being up there in a plane we had a grandstand view.Originally posted by DaveB View Post

Been dry since this morning but getting hotter and more humid as the day went on. Went out on the bike earlier and despite it being overcast with no real sun it was still warm enough to ride in just shorts and shirt. Still got hot and sweaty even so.
