Sod the lot of 'em. You get picked on because you care and there is some decent sport to be had.

The constant need to prove how insightful and great you are. All stems from the same insecurities.

Just chill out, post some drivel, and have a laugh.
WHS. You seem like a nice bloke. But you have started a huge number of threads about how you fit/don't fit into the forum, which does come across as needy and/or victim mentality, which will attract those who want to give you a kick. If you really want advice from people who don't know you, I'd suggest, for (at least) a week, don't start any new threads. Respond to other people's threads/posts, join in the banter, but don't look for acceptance/approval - if someone posts something negative, ignore them. FWIW, I don't have a problem with the 'kids' thread - cute little anecdote. But again, threads like that are fine occasionally - if we get 5 a day, people will soon get fed up...

Sun's shining - enjoy your holiday!

Yeah but half-decent conversation starters. SY posts the same thing "why are you bullying me" every few days essentially... it's not a personal anecdote but an invitation to talk about him.
I quite like SY01 from CUK, aside from these whinges... which really can't do anything but harm.

If SY01 has genuine grievances with individual posters he should PM them and say he would appreciate them laying off him a bit as it upsets him. He should also NOT post a thread about doing so. If said posters laugh in his face - actual bullies rather than those considering it fair game will laugh at such a request - he should simply ignore them or report to the mods, but then drop it.

That's what I'd do - act respectfully to give his 'bullies' a chance, rather than giving them flame-bait on the forum and slowly testing the patience of those who are on his side but are getting weary of it.

Keep posting SY - I find your nthreads are like porridge for the brain.

Shouldn't that be "like fish for the brain they're so stimulating"

Or did you mean "like a bowl of porridge over the head" ?
