Degree in history, only real jobs: data input clerk and a spell in Selfridges.

Personally I think a degree in history is exactly what a Chancellor needs - as history provides the knowledge to avoid mistakes.

The current mob are less qualified to run the country than the last lot.

                Anyway, I don't give a frack.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

He doesn't have to be popular - popular usually gets us in the tulip - he just has to make a better job of it than the previous two inept bastards!

People who study history are doomed to make the same mistakes.
