Thanks, that's good to know. Have to say though, to be honest, £500 a month for Mon>Fri stays in Leatherhead don't look that much of a bargain, many are 6 month minimum stay which is dodgy for a contractor on a weeks notice?

mine were around the £350 mark, didn't stay in anything close to luxury mind you but at least the landlord is in the same building so if the boiler does break its fixed ASAP

Sometimes its worthwhile widening your search slightly. There might be somewhere else only 10-15 minutes drive away which is a lot cheaper

What ever happened to the OP? I sent him the details of a mate renting out rooms and he never replied or posted again. Has someone in Basingstoke done away with him?
