What part of Born in London, and raised at Peasemore in Berkshire makes him a Scot?Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostBlair, Brown, even Cameron is mostly Scottish.
His Father was born in Scotland.
His Great-great-great-great-great Grandfather was born in England.Comment

Well, perhaps if the PR question is to be addressed we could also address the anomaly of Scottish MPs being allowed a vote on English only matters?
Then, we might as well let them sort themselves out (we'll keep the oil money, ta) and see how they get on?"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Can’t the Scots just get their act together and declare independence?Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostWell, perhaps if the PR question is to be addressed we could also address the anomaly of Scottish MPs being allowed a vote on English only matters?

The truth is, it's rains a lot up here. This means we're stuck indoors all the time thinking stuff up... That's why we're engineering wizards, political princes, all because of the rain.
When Germany ran out of engineers I got a phone call, simples."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

No, we're having too much of a laugh playing with the 'England game board' map changing the boundaries of consistencies over a wee dram...Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostCan’t the Scots just get their act together and declare independence?"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Yes, we know about the engineering wizards and the scientific geniuses and the philosophers; they were brilliant. 150 years ago. Now we get Brown, deep fried Mars Bars and the RBS. Is that why the Scots hang on to England? Is it actually because they’re just as crap at everything they used to do well as the English? A sort of ‘union of the numpties’?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThe truth is, it's rains a lot up here. This means we're stuck indoors all the time thinking stuff up... But you also hate the English, which is okay, but not so good if you happen to be English and keep having to vote for Scottish Prime Minsters.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThe truth is, it's rains a lot up here.
