So, if it's to do with the opposite sex then it's "preferences", but if it's the same sex then it's a "set state of mind"? You religious types get more bizarre every day.

Could someone please point me in the direction of where Christ says it's against God.

Please don't bring up the old testament, cos that's what it is OLD.

Gay people only bother me when they define themselves by it i.e. I'm X and I'm gay.

          Leviticus 18:22-30
22 You are not to sleep with a man as with a woman; (A) it is detestable. (B) 23 You are not to have sexual intercourse with [a] any animal, defiling yourself with it; a woman is not to present herself to an animal to mate with it; (C) it is a perversion.
24 "Do not defile yourselves by any of these [practices], for the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves by all these things. 25 The land has become defiled, so I am punishing it for its sin, and the land will vomit out its inhabitants. (D) 26 But you are to keep My statutes and ordinances. You must not commit any of these abominations—not the native or the foreigner who lives among you. 27 For the men who were in the land prior to you have committed all these abominations, and the land has become defiled. 28 If you defile the land, it will vomit (E) you out as it has vomited out the nations that were before you. 29 Any person who does any of these abominations must be cut off from his people. 30 You must keep My instruction to not do any of the detestable customs (F) that were practiced before you, so that you do not defile yourselves by them; I am the LORD your God."

          Matthew 19:4
4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

          Jude 1:7 (King James Version)
7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

          Ezekiel 16:49-50 (New International Version)
49 " 'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

          Judges 19:22-25 (New International Version)
22 While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."
23 The owner of the house went outside and said to them, "No, my friends, don't be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don't do this disgraceful thing. 24 Look, here is my virgin daughter, and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish. But to this man, don't do such a disgraceful thing."
25 But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go.

          Romans 1:25-27 (English Standard Version)
25because they exchanged the truth about God for(A) a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator,(B) who is blessed forever! Amen.
26For this reason(C) God gave them up to(D) dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another,(E) men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (New International Version)
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Timothy 1:9-11 (New King James Version)
9 knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

Christ doesn't say anything in the "old testament". However, it is said that he made reference to the "old testament" in his teachings etc.

I believe that Jesus does mention it not being kosher to spill your seed on barren earth and chucking yer man-muck up someone's poop-chute strikes me as being barren.

You sure it's described like that, quick search of the New Testament doesnt have the words 'poop-chute' in it!!!!!

Im fairly sure I would have remembered a sermon like that when I went to church when I was a kid 'And lo, Christ said no chutney ferrets or fudge packers shall use the poop-chute!'

It does appear twice in the Koran though!

I could rip all these apart, but this one is a most classic example, the translators have used the word 'strange' when the Greek would normally be translated to 'other'. When you swap just that one word, it makes quite a lot of difference.

Blame Jerome then, he translated the greek to latin.
