Are there any pictures/updates/news feeds of what the volcano's doing now?

You get the opposite problem with airships though. If one of them flies over a volcano it ends up half-way to the Moon within 3 seconds.Originally posted by d000hg View PostNo matter if test flights go OK, can you imagine if a plane did go down due to airlines pushing the regulators to allow flights? They'd be sued into oblivion.
I think air-ships will be the way forward.

I've looked (British Geological Society etc..)Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostAre there any pictures/updates/news feeds of what the volcano's doing now?
But the only one I could find that might be useful is the BBC's Volcano cloud as it happens: 19 April"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

you'd have thought they'd at least get a web cam set up
so that we can all see what's going on

There are satellite dust cloud images here (click dust & then central Europe, 24 , play), but I've no idea what their colours represent. So all in all a bit useless.Comment

More recent images (yesterday and preceding days). The recent images suggest it's still active(ly pumping out dust).

i gotta say, the whole thing is not very well coordinated is it
i can live with no flights, will spend a week at the office every three weeks instead of every two, and will drive to the office,
but we could do with more information in a coordinated way, i mean, austria open's their airspace, well so what if the departure or destination countries don't open theirs
looks like the government needs a minister and department for volcanoes and airspace
