Just got back from our Honeymoon in the Caribbean. I bought myself the Limited Edition (Black Steel) Breitling Chronomat Blackbird.

Those rado ones look nice on a slender female wrist on the deck of an expensive yacht. Especially the white ones. Classy but modern.
Personally I don't wear a watch, except for my Suunto pulse meter when I'm cycling. I don't like being governed by the passage of time. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Am a fan of the Tag Heuer Kirim range. Very understated but ooze quality. Not the cheapest but I have had mine years and it still looks brand new. Quality is without question and classic looks are timeless. Proper quality watch without the bling that will date.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

I never used to, however it started to get annoying to have to pull my phone out and get the time. Plus, I learnt how to scuba dive (PADI Cert) out there and its handy having a watch that works underwater.Originally posted by doodab View PostThose rado ones look nice on a slender female wrist on the deck of an expensive yacht. I wouldn't bother with a Tag in that price range - mine cost c£800 and it still loses fifteen seconds or so a week.
I think you'd be better off with a top of the range Seiko Kinetic for about half your budget. Or, up your budget and look at secondhand Rolexes."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Yeah, they had some Suunto Dive Computers for sale on the Cruise Ship we were on. Pretty cool, but over-priced, even without tax, etc.Originally posted by doodab View PostSuunto do some very funky dive computers as well.Comment
