I think the next prime minister should ban all christian churches and instead of bishops have the local LGBT representative take their place to teach morals to society.

Contractor79, Jesus was a socialist no?
Believed in equality and fairness
Denied material wealth, wanted to give to the poor.
If anything he was left wing.
How do you rabid right-wing rapturists reconcile those contradictions? Seems to me you stand for everything he wasn't.The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

Right-wingers give to charities of their choosing, and give more to charities than hypocritical left-wingers who want to tax everyone to fund their causes so that they need to give only very little or nothing voluntarily themselves.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostContractor79, Jesus was a socialist no?

Left-wingers love spending other people's money on immoral charities or causes.Comment

Jesus (the concept of) would not approve of a nastly little small minded man like you. Actually, I don't think that's right. There are also stories about wealthy people in the Gospel's and New Testament. Jesus was really not that interested in wealth either way, as long is it wasn't the person's 'god'.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostContractor79, Jesus was a socialist no?

C79 - a genuine Christian wouldn't be carrying on like you are, so don't pretend to represent their views.
