I'm underneath Betty & Wilma all weekend. Betty's 58 years old and Wilma's 62. Wahey!

I got discussed a while back as there are a few people on here doing or recently completed OU courses.

Bring your rain coat, when I was leaving they were saying that the Monsoon might start within the next 3 weeks.

Thursday evening - nice meal somewhere followed by the overnight train Munich - Venice and a 8am water taxi along the Grand Canal to the hotel

                    Nice, very nice.

Amongst the wealth of things to see do try and see Titians assumption in Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Go when it's quiet if possible and try walking round the Basilica whilst looking at it as it was designed to be viewed from many angles. Also note the triple level of the painting ie earth, the virgin being assumed, heaven with god the father waiting. This is an extension of the technique used by Raphael in his Transfiguration.

Note:- Because of Mary's holiness she doesn't have to wait until judgement day to go to heaven instead is is assumed into heaven upon her death.

All those post and not single mention of chocolate!
I shall be traveling home tomorrow - via my parents to pick up Pogle Jr and see my folks, then its back up to Manchester

A mixture of visiting, Church, food, drink, shopping, sleep and extraordinary chocolate consumption awaits me there.

And I'm off the following week
And its our wedding anniversary on Tuesday
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Pogle is awarded +5 Xeno Geek Points.
