Whilst I have enjoyed reading some of the threads, the problem I see with MN is that it's too vast, and too full of bile anyway - they all argue and moan at each other all the time, so having a newbie join in isn't the same as (for example) visiting the cooking forum.

It IS a vast site, and TBH most of it is pretty boring. Of the areas that ARE worth getting involved in, I am probably pushing my luck. They are hardly a bunch of shrinking violets mind you, and for the large number of them that are on their own, it is not difficult to guess at what drove their partners away.

suprised nobody has done some chav single parent moaning that their mum won't look after little Kia while she goes to the pub with her new boyfriend. Is it ok to leave a 3 year old at home alone if he knows her mobile number?Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Or the opposite end of the social scale, where mum as if she is being unreasonable in withholding favours from DH, until he agrees to an aupair as well as a nanny, or somesuch "make 'em green with envy" post.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
