'where is all this leading?', i hear the remotely interested of you ask.
simply to the logical conclusion both that i feel i have outlived my usefulness as a moderator, and that the board has moved on into areas where i feel uncomfortable with its general [sic] tenor.Comment

the board now presents an extremely unprofessional face to the outside world and i'd prefer for my part not to be held accountable for this.

Having lurked here for many years I can't for the life of me see what is different about CUK now and CUK then. I wish I could be arsed to visit here more often, I might appreciate the politics of what people keep rabbiting on about, the bannings, the bullying, the way it is going downhill, etc etc.
On the other hand, probably I wouldn't. One of the supreme joys of being an indifferent psychopath. The politics of places I contracted at all went over my head too, I could never understand what people were on about when they talked about the plots and the cliques. The secretive, manipulating, bullying managers mostly seemed perfectly normal decent sorts to me.

Och FGS if people wanted straitlaced they'd go to the pcg forum. CUK is fine the way it is."I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

sounds like he's taking himself way too seriously and a bit full of himself - well that's how it comes accross anyhow.
like the other poster said it's the same ole cuk that I remember from about 8 years ago albeit with some new muppets as well as some old ones.
i never looked in on for about 4 years and lo n behold when i did decide to check it out again it is the same ole.
if u are looking for anything different on a public BB then you are sadly fooling yourself.Comment

I think it's gone downhill recently as well. I have also swapped PMs with other forum posters who agree.
I don't think SP has done anything wrong other than to voice his opinion, and state his position. This I respect.
I don't recall this forum ever having decorum though.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment
