I have a house that’s been valued at about 1.1 million quiddles. My buyer is asking me to drop the price to 999,995 quiddles and says he’ll give me cash for the other 100 grand. What possible motivation could he have for this request?

My dad bought a large country house in Spain that came with a new 4x4, apparently the price was just under some limit that saved him quite a bit in tax.
Quite lucky really as he was after a new 4x4.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.Comment
