I went backpacking around Asia just roundabout when the story broke, and for anyone who has ever backpacked on your own, you have to go out of your way to talk/meet people.

Anyway, one of my questions to people I had just met(I suppose this would work quite well for a date as well) was 'Whats the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?'

I was on a plane sat next to a stunning girl, when we got talking and I asked her. She then went through the story above to which I then gasped 'Oh my god, was that you?' and the reply was 'No. It wasn't. But that bloke was my boyfriend the fking wnker and that girl is a fcking slag!!!! So I'm leaving until it dies down!!!!!'

    Ooops!
    no way
blooming heck, it truly is a small world

i was there when the contractor drove the bus into the tree.

We have MS Communicator here but i refuse to use it. My boss was making enquiries as to why i wasn't on at times and feel he was using it to keep track of my time working. I pointed out there are no working hours specified but still made the odd joke about being offline so stopped using it.

@MF : Can you post the text from your link, NSFW here.

There are folks here whose IM has them online 24/7, just by setting some options. That means as much as you being flagged as Offline. Doesn't mean you are or aren't actually working.

Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

                Google chat and Skype.

Current client uses Lotus Notes messenger, which is OK since everyone is on the same system.
